GUEST INSTRUCTOR
Master Michael W. Hicks is a certified 6th-degree black belt with the World Tang Soo Do Association and a highly respected leader in martial arts instruction. He began his training in 1972 and has spent over 26 years teaching and developing students.
As head of the Association's weapon sub-committee, Master Hicks played a key role in creating the Association's sword form. He has dedicated his life to the martial arts and to the growth and development of Tang Soo Do in his students.

Our Black Belt Clinic will be held at the Newtown Youth Academy Fieldhouse, a state-of-the-art turf facility that allows us to train together in a high-quality, climate-controlled environment - completely out of the elements.
The space also allows us to section off the field for more personalized training while still keeping everyone connected in one location.
With easy access to an outdoor patio for breaks, it offers the perfect balance of comfort, flexibility and focused training.

This is a one day clinic for all students
This is for students who are teaching at the Black Belt Clinic. Please submit your subject to the event coordinator. Thank you for your help
We need volunteers. There are a lot of behind the scenes preparations and set up during the clinic. It takes many people to make the clinic run smoothly. We need people who are not otherwise occupied with learning or instructing to assist. There is no charge. You will not get credit for attending the clinic for advancement if you sign up at this level.

I will obey all rules and regulations and also assume full responsibility and liability for any of my actions during and in connection with this Black Belt Clinic. If I, or any of my guests, violate any WTSDA rules, I understand we will be ejected from the event, without a refund. I agree that my performance or attendance at the Black Belt Clinic, or both, may be filmed or otherwise recorded or telecast live, and I consent to the use by the WTSDA, its assignees and licensees including any public news media, of my name, likeness, voice, poses, pictures and biographical form or language with or without other materials, throughout the world without limitation, for television, radio and/or theatrical motion pictures by any devices now known or hereafter devised, and I waive any compensation whatsoever in connection with the foregoing and waive all rights to any intellectual property rights which may arise therefrom. I further understand and agree that all fees paid hereunder are NONREFUNDABLE.
